Pasaba a comentarles que ayer me compré una tabla digitalizadora Wacom Pen & Touch. Hace tiempo que queria una, pero este año me propuse ahorrar y comprarla por mi mismo; me llevó aproximadamente 6 meses llegar a la meta solo sacando provecho de lo que me sobraba cuando mis padres me daban plata para salir y comer algo por ahi.
Apenas llegué a casa y ya empezé a probar dibujar y dibujar. Por suerte ya tenía la experiencia de probar la que un amigo me habia prestado, por lo tanto no me costó adaptarme a dibujar en la Wacom mientras miraba la pantalla.
Como siempre dibujé lo que más me gusta hacer, diseño de personajes. Pero esta vez decidí dar un mejor acabado con sombras....
...y aprovechando las ventajas del software, también probar texturas.
Realmente te cambia la vida dibujar con esta herramienta, y lo digo yo que bastante me manejaba con el mouse lleno de orgullo. Asi que decidi además practicar dibujar algo de escenografia, que es algo que no domino muy bien aún; tengo ciertos problemas manejando planos para dar la impresión de perspectiva.
Pero al menos siento que voy mejorando.

I'm writing to tell you about my new item. Yesterday I finally bought a Wacom digital Pen & Touch tablet! I always wanted to have one, and this year I decided to buy it myself. I have been saving money to buy this for like six... months... But it's not that expensive. Why it took me so long? Easy, I don't work by now; so I have been saving money from spending the less as possible of the money my parents always give me to eat something when I go out.
Immediately I arrived home, I started to draw and draw. Thank godness I have tried a friend's digital tablet he lend me before, so I didn't have to pass through getting used to draw at the tablet and watching the monitor!
Like always, I mostly drew what I most love doing; character design. But this time I decided to make a more finished work of the drawings with some shadows...
...and taking the advantage of some facilities of the software I also tried to use some textures.

Guys! Working with this tool really changes the way you draw. I used to manage enoughly with the mouse, but that was before I learned the greatness of drawing with this; is more confortable.
So then, I decided also to practice those things I don't manage to do very well... like backgrounds. I have some difficulties to make my drawings give the impression of perspective.
